If you are not in a union, work in a non unionised workplace and have been injured or made ill by your work then Scottish Hazards may be able to help you.
We recognise many workers may not have access to trade unions in their workplaces, however trade unions are particularly important when workers have been injured at work or feel their work is having an effect of their health.
Trade unions deliver safer and healthier workplaces but Scottish Hazards appreciates there may be reasons why some workers may not wish to be a trade union member, particularly if they work in smaller workplaces or where an employer makes their attitude towards trade unions clear.
However we believe that, in such cases workers should have access to advice when things go wrong or someone fears an accident may happen due to what they think may be unsafe working practices.
